This group meets monthly at various venues. The venue will be published on this web site or you can contact a convenor by following the link. This is very popular so it is best to try and reserve a place at least two weeks before the event.

This group offers an excellent opportunity to meet new people and contribute to the success of our U3A. The goal is to get a good luncheon between £15 and £20 depending on the number of courses and the cost of the drinks. There will not be a luncheon during July or August 2026 due to holidays. Our next get together will be at the Hornsmill, Helsby, on Thursday 17 September 2026. It is necessary to book in advance. The latest date for booking and paying a deposit is Thursday 3 September 2026. We look forward to many of us enjoying a good meal.

Our Christmas luncheon will be held at 13.00 on Tuesday 1 December 2026 at the Woodcote Restaurant. The cost will be £32 for two courses and £37 for three courses - all prices are exclusive of beverages. As well as a traditional Xmas lunch there are other items on the menu which will have to be ordered prior to the event. Please speak to Anne Gill or any other committee member for further information. It is essential to book early.

The 15th birthday celebration was well attended at the Woodcote restaurant and everyone enjoyed a good natter and afternoon tea. There was a lot of interest in old photos of the u3a and previous issues of our newsletter. See below for photos.
